Awkward first kiss..how to kiss?

Tonight, my best friend kissed me. We've like pecked or whatever in the past, but tonight he tried to hook up with me, and it was awful. All that stuff about how it comes natural is bullshit, because I had no idea. Everything was fine until it was like OH HEY SUP I HAVE A TONGUE IN MY MOUTH NOW WHAT DO I DO.
