Question about Ethics in the work place?

I work at a rehab center (physical rehab). I have a patient that is a PhD who teaches and creates and edits programs for some large Universities, along with being the Director of an organization. This patient, upon working with me, has offered to write me letters of recommendation and is offering help such as guidance, consultation, and further istance, all non-financial and intangible towards my education and eventual advancement. I am wondering if there would be any conflicts with any ethical "rules" if I accept.
