Working moms, do you ever get tired of seeing half of your paycheck go?

I used to get frustrated but what can you do? I thank God for having a good paying job so that I can support my child. By the time they take out taxes, union dues, health insurance, life insurance...it is a bit much. Learn how to get back as much as possible. Itemize your taxes. Don't get disgusted. Medicaid, wic...that is not how you want to live. I personally, like my standard of living and will NEVER live a lifestyle of dependence upon others while I sit back and do little of nothing. If you want to use the system only do so to better yourself, such as seeking a grant so that you can go to school (if you haven't done so already) and get a better paying job. Keep your head up...its hard for single moms but children are blessing so be a good steward over your children and your finances!
