Why does it seem the media is trying to shove the beckhams down our throats?

i dont get..so they are moving to the us..soo what??!! i cant believe they get there own show for that..he is suppose to come here and save soccer give me a break..is it a desperate attempt for "posh" or whatever her name is to resurrect her career.i thought the media attention with paris was bad but this is rediculous..maybe she belongs on vh-1 where are the other has beens belong
