Hmm to go or not to go? and if i go what to wear/expect?

So a friend of mine (we've had a one night stand before) Recently moved away to a different town... hes going to come back down for holidays soon and the other night he said "Rather then staying with my parents I was gong to grab a hotel room in the city... you should come and stay with me" and i kinda laughed it off cause like after our one night stand he basically told me he only likes me as a mate nothing more and I still have a boyfriend... but today he was like "make sure you think about my offer, let me know before I come down if you want to join me... we can't really go out for dinner in the city though lols but I'll make it special".... ARGHHHHH ... I know i need to get over him and I really thought i was like we haven't stopped talking or anything but we've been nothing but mates like no flirting or anything until this.... and I dont know what to do.. i want to go but know i shouldn't and i know i would hate myself if i did.... sigh help? :'(
