Rabbit hutch question help?
The hutch and cover look great. It should keep the wind and other elements away from the hutch. And it is definitely appropriate for two rabbits. Your rabbits should be okay in the cold weather, however a few things to remember: make sure you get them outside with enough time to get adjusted to the cold, before full blown winter sets in. Otherwise, they might not necessarily be able to adjust. Also, when you bring them inside, make sure you only do it for short, frequent periods rather than extended ones. It is hard for them to regulate their body temperature when the environment around them is constantly changing. The rabbits don't really need bedding, but at times we would shred up some newspaper and put it in with them to play with, chew on, etc. However, it might be better for them to not have much, because then they can urinate and have their bm's straight through the wire. Hope this helps.
