San diego state or uc riverside?

I'm going to be a psychology major and I really don't know where I'm going even though I have to send in my letter of intent in less than 2 weeks. I've been reading anything i could find about both schools and it seems like both has its drawbacks. One big thing is, is it true that a lot of people at ucr lack motivation? Also would it be hard to transfer from ucr to ucla?
