Was this a subconscious thing or not?

Also, what could it have meant? In my English cl, I sit in the seat behind the girl I like. I often sit a little too casually in my seat during lessons, and my feet usually stick out from the table a lot (which often trips people up, but that's beside the point). Anyway, the girl in front of me was sitting kinda casually too and her feet were pretty close to mine, and after a while she suddenly tapped my foot with hers. I sorta ignored it as an accident, but she kept doing it every so often. I glanced at her, a little freaked out, and she wasn't even looking at me. I thought maybe I should do it back, so I tapped her foot with mine, after which she quickly responded with another. It was kinda fun, lol. Anyway, was this just some sort of weird subconscious thing or what?
