Do I HAVE to pull down my eyelid hmmmm....?
While it is more effective to pull out your lower lid the drops should still get in there. However your bigger problem is that you shouldn't be using eye drops that frequently. You need to go see your doctor and ask to see an opthalmologist who will help determine why you have dry eyes and how to solve the problem without having to use so many drops. Also most drops contain preservatives and you can become allergic to them if you use them too frequently. One of the solutions may be to use eye gel at night instead of drops and use warm compresses then gentle pressure to squeeze out any blocked oil ducts on your eye lids using a facecloth. If you use an eye gel such as Lacralube at night it tends to spread a little into the eye area and helps moisturize the skin around the eye as you sleep, if you are concerned about wrinkles.
